TubeTab Free: Seamless YouTube Video Search and Player App Reviews
Yes this plays Youtube from the menu bar, but using this app is less efficient than just using Youtube within a browser. It doesn’t allow to view comments while watching, and if I want to see a list of other videos, I have to toggle screens — painful, yes, very much so.
Miss login!!!
Great app, compact, clean, just miss logon for fav and other stuff!
poor app, but the idea is great
works for a few minutes then it stops!!
I love how you can search and watch videos right on the desktop! That is truly awesome. The only thing I would like to see is some sort of option to be able to read the description or see commetns on the videos underneath about the video. I gave 4 stars would have given 5 if that was an option. Thanks
horrible, terrible.
crashes, buffers, never worked once….dont waist time having to delete…..worst i have seen...
idk
needs more access to diffrent versions
After the first few tries at searching for videos, the app suddenly won’t search. I love this app and how it plays videos, but this could be so much better!!! Please fix this issue and I’ll use this app forever.
As unhappyme3 said in previous review, it works great at first, but after the first few tries at searching the app basically stops working. When it does work, it’s wonderful.
I too have found the search function to quit working after a few entries. Needs an Update to add the ability to sync with your YouTube account and the functions that go with that. (History, Playlists, Subscriptions, etc.) With this version I can’t access a set of paid subscription training videos that I currently have. Which makes the search function useless, when it is working.
simple
easy and absolute fantastic
This is great for my needs. Can be resized, undocked, set to always on top, minimized to dock while still playing audio, and better yet, my computer seems to use less resources when playing from this player as opposed to playing it from a web browser such as Chrome. The only thing I wish I was able to do is log into my account so I can add favorites and browse my history. If the premium offered this I would gladly pay 4.99, however, I do not see it mentioned that it does offer account log in. Other than that, it is still very useful. More so than using a browser.
